Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday: We're home!

Susie and Brynlyn met Cliff, Jenni, Kaden, and Kaleb who were also staying at the hospital post surgery. These two little twin boys have identical heart defects called hypoplastic left heart. They are the sweetest guys and it was so much fun meeting them.

Sat/Sun/Mon: So far, so good

These are some pictures taken on Saturday and Sunday when Brynlyn was in recovery. She was feeling so much better and already starting to look better. But we still had to spend the weekend in there just to finish recovery. They are taking her for a modified barium swallow study on Monday to see if she has the ability to swallow and eat real food.

Friday: It's a good day in recovery

Well she is definitely feeling much better today and was able to enjoy a visit from Grandma and Grandpa Sugar (Thornock.) And she loved it when Daddy held her. I just love these pictures of her poking her face out of the crib bars. I'm sure she just wanted me to "break" her out of there. ha ha So glad things are getting better with her.
